Professional Development activities at ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ provide DEISJ*-centered training for all ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ employees. Three components include new hire onboarding, ongoing professional development, and career advancement pathways for all ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ constituents including student workers, classified professionals, faculty, managers, and the Board of Trustees.

Professional Development Learning Center
The PDLC, located at the District Office, offers employee onboarding, and ongoing professional development trainings.
Professional Development Flex Days
Each year there are six PD Flex Days. Flex days are organized by and for faculty (per Ed Code), but include many activities for classified professional colleagues.
Vision Resource Center
The Vision Resource Center, provided by the California Community College Chancellor’s Office, is an online PD resource for all community college employees.
Mission
The Professional Development Office of the PeÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ College District provides professional learning for staff, faculty, and administrators by organizing Professional Development Days and Flex Activities; by supporting the colleges’ professional development efforts, and by curating and sharing information about professional development opportunities
