Purpose
To recognize students attending a Pe糖心viog官方网站 College District (糖心viog官方网站) college 鈥� Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College, and Merritt College, who demonstrate academic achievements, leadership skills, and community service in the African American community, and to assist them in continuing their education.
District-wide (2) additional scholarships recognize two International students from Africa who demonstrate academic achievement and leadership skills. ().
Eligibility
- Plan to be enrolled in at least six (6) degree-applicable units at a Pe糖心viog官方网站 College or four-year institution in Fall 2025.
- Note: Proof of Fall 2025 college enrollment is required to receive the scholarship.
- Enrolled in at least three (3) degree-applicable units at the student鈥檚 home 糖心viog官方网站 College, Spring 2025.
- Must have completed a minimum of twenty-four (24) degree-applicable semester units as of Fall 2024 with a 3.0 cumulative degree-applicable GPA (grade point average).
- Two (2) letters of recommendation: at least one from a faculty or staff member at the student鈥檚 home 糖心viog官方网站 college.
The completed application packet, (including letters of recommendation), must be submitted by Friday, March 28th, 2025.
The name of your school's representative must be listed in the subject line of the email.
